Church Retreat at Bluestone 2005
A few images from our annual retreat. This year's event was Oct. 21-23, and nearly 60 members and friends enjoyed the weekend of relaxation and learning about the Sacraments.

Cardboard
Campout 2005
A few images from our annual event to raise awareness of homelessness.
The 2005 event was held Saturday, Sept. 23 - Sunday, Sept. 24, which
was Affordable Housing Sunday. Participants slept on the church lawn
in cardboard boxes, studied homelessness, poverty, and were fed by Old
Man Rivers, the local organization that regularly feeds homeless people
in the Parkersburg area.

Photos from the youth musical, Promise U. The musical was Sept.18 during
worship service, and we presented it that evening at Vienna Baptist,
too.
Mom's
Night Out!
We have such good guys in our church. Who else would take on a bunch
of kids - some not even their own! - for a camping trip, just so the
moms can enjoy an evening off? Or out. Here are a few photos from their
fun time hiking, catching crawfish (or crayfish), enjoying a bonfire,
seeing a pheasant farm, and taking a hayride. Sounds like fun. Maybe
next time, the moms should go camping while the guys stay HOME with
the kids, hmm?

hamburgers, and great Presbyterian food you can eat.
