Worship Opportunities
at First Presbyterian

   We have two very different Sunday worship services, and you're sure to find one that meets your needs. We also offer a number of smaller activities and worship-based meetings at other times. If you're curious about how Presbyterians view worship, we have answers. If you're looking for musical opportunities, we have those, too.

Here's our basic weekly schedule. On occasion, special events and holidays force us to change a date or time (but usually not a Sunday morning service). Read on below for more information about some of these activities!

Sunday Morning Worship
10:30 a.m.		   Our 10:30 a.m. worship service is our largest service. It's fairly traditional and structured, and features a full choir, organ-accompanied hymns, the full liturgy, and a little more formal atmosphere.

 
Early Worship
8:30 a.m.		   Want something a little less formal and perhaps a little more intimate? This smaller service opens with a time of praise singing. Here’s where you’ll find some of our Sunday golfers … and folks who just like to get up and about early!

 
Music at First Presbyterian   Music is very important to First Presbyterian Church. In fact, we have a very long history of musical excellence. We invite you to discover the music program here at First Church for yourself.
 
The Gathering
6 p.m. most Wednesdays		   Talk about an evening of fun, fellowship, AND learning for the whole family! The Gathering brings together young and old, families and singles for an evening of music, reflection, learning, and activities. It's a great way to rejuvenate midway through the work week.There are classes and activities for adults, youth, and children (Discovery Youth), plus a nursery for children under 3.
 
Men's Bible Studies
Various Times		   Strengthen your faith alongside others who can lend you a hand and help you understand more about yourself and your relationship with God. We also have a monthly “Men’s Breakfast.”
 
Women's Circles
Various Times		   We have two women's circles that meet on the second Tuesdays of each month for fellowship and study:
  • Miriam Circle - 9:30 a.m.

  • Priscilla Circle - 12:30 p.m.
 
Discovery Youth
6 p.m. Wednesdays		   Discovery Youth for children through elementary school meets at the same time as The Gathering. Children not only socialize, play, and create "things," they also learn about God in a very supportive atmosphere. Visit our Children's Ministries for more information and activities.
 
Youth Fellowship
6:45 p.m. Wednesdays		  

Our youth play hard, work hard, and learn a lot about themselves and God. For Junior High and up. Youth can learn more about themselves while discovering their physical, mental, and spiritual strengths. Visit our Youth MinistriesYouth Ministries for more information.
